Sweet Potato Squares with Lemon-Garlic Mayonnaise

    November 22, 2016 by Kyle 4 Comments

These Sweet Potato Squares can be made ahead of time and are the perfect hearty appetizer especially with the addition of sausage and a dipping sauce.

Three appetizer sticks with a small square of sweet potato and sausage on each.

It is always gr8 to be able to serve an easy and hearty appetizer during the holidays like these Sweet Potato Squares with Lemon-Garlic Mayonnaise. Add this recipe to your list of "go to" recipes because you can rely on it being a real crowd pleaser!

All the ingredients for a sauce in a bowl.

The dipping sauce is a distinctive combination of ingredients that add just a bit of extra flavor to each bite.

one inch squares of sweet potato sprinkled with pepper on a baking sheet.

They can be made ahead of time and assembled right before your guests arrive; or, assemble ahead of time and warm for a short time in the microwave before serving.

slices of sausage sautéing in a pan.

Don't wait until the holidays to serve them; they were a big hit at our Camp Boomer Gr8 Dinner in the summer.

Several appetizer sticks on a white rectangular platter with a sweet potato piece and slice of sausage on the end.

The Lemon-Garlic Mayonnaise is good enough to lick right off the spoon. It would be a perfect addition of choice when served with Roasted Shrimp or Crab Cakes!
