Breakfast Overnight Oats

Ingredients

Mango and Almond Overnight Oats

  • ½ cup uncooked Old Fashioned Oats
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup greek yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons honey
  • ½ mango, diced
  • 1 - 2 Tablespoons slivered almonds

Blueberry Overnight Oats

  • ½ cup uncooked Old Fashioned Oats
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons agave nectar , or honey, or maple syrup
  • ¼ - ½ cup fresh blueberries

Apple and Raisin Overnight Oats

  • ½ cup uncooked Old Fashioned Oats
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons honey
  • ½ apple, diced
  • 1 ounce raisins, one small box

Cocoa Banana Overnight Oats

  • ½ cup uncooked Old Fashioned Oats
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup milk, add 1 cup of milk and yogurt or no yogurt for a chocolate milk and cereal breakfast.
  • ¼ cup greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 banana, diced

Instructions

Mango and Almond Overnight Oats

  • In a pint size jar or other container stir to combine the oats, salt, milk, yogurt, extract and honey and stir to combine.
  • Drop the mango on the top of the oat mixture and sprinkle with slivered almonds. Cover the container and refrigerate overnight.
  • In the morning, stir the oats, fruit and nuts to combine and enjoy!

Blueberry Overnight Oats

  • In a pint size jar or other container stir to combine the oats, salt, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, and agave.
  • Drop the blueberries on top of the oat mixture. Cover the container and refrigerate overnight.
  • In the morning, stir the oats and fruit to combine and enjoy!

Apple and Raisin Overnight Oats

  • In a pint size jar or other container stir to combine the oats, milk, salt, cinnamon, and honey. 
  • Drop the apples and raisins on the top of the oat mixture. Cover the container and refrigerate overnight.
  • In the morning, stir the oats and fruit to combine and enjoy!

Cocoa Banana Overnight Oats

  • In a pint size jar or other container stir to combine the oats, salt, milk, cocoa, honey, and vanilla.
  • Drop the diced banana on the top of the oat mixture. Cover the container and refrigerate overnight.
  • In the morning, stir the oats and fruit to combine and enjoy!

Notes

Gr8 Tips:
  • Do not use instant or steel-cut oats.
  • I use almond milk but any milk product will work. 
  • Where I have indicated the milk measurement, of course feel free to add more or less. 
  • If you don't want to add the yogurt (although I highly recommend it!) try adding ¾ - 1 cup of milk.
  • I use a pint size jar which many times is enough for two breakfasts. I eat what I want and put the lid back on and enjoy it again later or another day.
  • The oats are meant to be eaten cold but if you would rather eat warm oats, just pop them in the microwave.

  • The oats can be made-ahead and refrigerated for up to 4 days.
